Our Story

My name is Becca and six years ago I launched a rug business that I am so thankful for. As I propel forward I am eager to embrace the change in my life.  What has changed? For one I am a new mother.  It's the greatest joy in my life.  It has also sparked a desire to teach and instill my values more than ever to my son.  Secondly, my family and I opened a restaurant. It was my first start to finish design project.  If you are ever in Carolina Beach, NC, it is called The Sandspur. This project sparked so much joy in creating &  sourcing art, etc.  What have these changes led to? I hope to expand my business further into design and photography (my first business love).  Our retail shop will continue to expand, but expect to see MIXED MATTERS encompass a mix of offerings.
